Published in 1000 Handmade Greetings!
Exciting news! My watercolor dress cards and heart cards have recently been published in 1000 Handmade Greetings: Creative Cards and Clever Correspondence by Laura McFadden. Originally, I made these cards for the bridesmaids in our wedding. Each watercolored dress reflects the dress that each bridesmaid chose to wear.
I create these by painting watercolor washes on thick watercolor paper, then [ever-so-carefully, and lovingly] cutting each piece of the dress out of the various washes.
